  • 2:45 AM Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_174439 Spherion Staffing has positions on 2nd shift for Assembly/Disassembly Technicians with a local manufacturing company.
The Assembly/Disassembly Technicians will be cleaning parts in the assembly area and will operate a variety of tools and equipment to assemble and disassemble products in a manufacturing environment. This position will also be using a hoist/crane frequently. 2nd shift schedule is 4:15pm-2:45am Monday
  • Thursday
  • must be open to working overtime
  • Responsibilities:
  • Use blueprints, gauges, torque measuring devices and/or other equipment to ensure conformance to quality specifications
  • Use precision measuring devices to effectively assemble and/or disassemble final product
  • Perform preventive maintenance as required
  • Assist in identifying issues and initiating corrective action processes as necessary
  • Perform 5S Audits
  • Perform Safety Stop Audits observations as required
  • Identify and accurately categorizes wear patterns of parts
  • Troubleshoot quality problems Working hours: 4:15 PM

Specific experience with hoist operations is a plus
Education:
High School Experience:

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years job related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Must have the ability to effectively interpret blueprints
  • Proven record of good attendance
  • Must possess ability to deal with multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
