Job Title:
Shop Technician 2 Job Description We are seeking a skilled Shop Technician 2 to join our team for the 2nd shift, Monday through Thursday from 4:15 PM to 2:45 AM. As a Shop Technician, you will perform essential assembly and disassembly operations, using blueprints, gauges, torque measuring devices, and other equipment to ensure adherence to quality specifications. You will utilize precision measuring devices to effectively assemble and disassemble final products and interpret blueprints accurately. Additional duties include performing preventive maintenance, assisting in identifying issues, and initiating corrective action processes. Responsibilities Perform basic assembly and disassembly operations. Use blueprints, gauges, torque measuring devices, and other equipment to ensure conformance to quality specifications. Utilize precision measuring devices for effective assembly and disassembly of final products. Interpret blueprints accurately. Conduct preventive maintenance. Assist in identifying issues and initiating corrective action processes. Conduct Safety Stop Audits observations. Participate in the Continuous Improvement/Process Improvement and Development (CI/PID) Process. Engage in cross-training and support various shop areas. Essential Skills Proficiency in assembly and disassembly operations. Ability to use hand tools and precision measuring devices. Experience working with drivetrain parts. Capability to interpret blueprints effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in Mechanical Assembly/Disassembly, welding, Metal Fabrication. Experience in Agricultural or Construction Equipment Assembly. Knowledge in mechanics. Why Work Here? Join our team and enjoy a $2,000 sign-on bonus, with payouts after 90 and 180 days of employment. The role is for the 2nd shift, Monday through Thursday from 4:15 PM to 2:45 AM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Fargo, ND. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.76 - $30.24/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
