Job Title:
Electronics Assembly and Packaging Technician Job Description This temporary role focuses on assembling and packaging small electronic sensors used in military applications. You will work in a quiet, climate-controlled facility, performing hands-on mechanical and electronic assembly tasks while following established production and quality standards. This position runs Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Responsibilities Assemble small electronic sensors using mechanical and electronic components according to detailed instructions and specifications. Perform component assembly, including handling small parts and ensuring proper fit, orientation, and secure connections. Package completed sensors carefully to meet quality, safety, and shipping requirements. Use hand tools throughout the day to complete mechanical and electronic assembly tasks accurately and efficiently. Stand for extended periods and perform frequent lifting as part of daily production activities. Follow production schedules to meet daily output goals while maintaining consistent quality standards. Inspect assembled components and finished sensors for defects, inconsistencies, or damage, and report issues promptly. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety, efficiency, and product quality. Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and procedures while operating tools and handling components. Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality to support continuous production operations throughout the project duration. Essential Skills Experience with assembly or production work, including mechanical assembly tasks. Hands-on experience with electronic or electronic component assembly. Ability to work with small components and hand tools for extended periods. Capacity to stand on your feet all day and perform frequent lifting. Strong reliability and commitment to good attendance. Ability to follow detailed instructions and production procedures accurately. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment. Familiarity with both mechanical and electronic assembly processes. Attention to detail when working with small parts and packaged products. Ability to maintain focus and productivity in a quiet, structured work setting. Why Work Here? Listening to music is permitted, contributing to a focused and calm atmosphere while you perform your duties. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of La Vista, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
