In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electronic components onto circuit boards with precision and adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, electrical knowledge, and experience working with surface mount technology and soldering techniques. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the production of reliable, high-quality electronic products that meet industry specifications and customer expectations. Duties Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs) by placing and securing electronic components according to schematics and technical drawings. Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to prepare components and circuit boards for assembly. Solder surface mount technology (SMT) components and through-hole parts following IPC 610 standards to ensure durable, high-quality connections. Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to accurately assemble electrical wiring and mechanical parts. Conduct visual inspections and functional testing of assembled PCBs using tools such as calipers, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and manufacturing procedures. Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot assembly issues and improve manufacturing processes. Requirements Proven experience in PCB assembly, soldering, and working with surface mount technology. Knowledge of electrical wiring, schematics, and mechanical assembly techniques. Familiarity with IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies. Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and basic machining equipment. Strong electrical experience or background in electronics manufacturing is highly desirable.
