Physical Education and Health Teacher Part Time

Located in Fair Lawn, New Jersey (Bergen County), CTC Academy serves the educational and therapeutic needs of students ages 18 months to 8 years old with complex developmental disabilities. CTC Academy has a part-time position available at our Fair Lawn Campus for a Teacher of Physical Education & Health, and we are looking for a special person who can dedicate themselves to the success of our students. PART TIME - FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE

- Teacher of Physical Education and Health for Students with Complex Developmental Disabilities. NJ Department of Education Teacher of Physical Education and Health Certification required Experience working with students with complex developmental disabilities preferred but not required. Join a remarkable staff in a supportive working environment Flexible Schedule, 11-month position. Approximately 20 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities:

Implement a high-quality physical education and health curriculum for students with complex developmental disabilities that focuses on:

Fostering the development of skills needed for successful participation in the area of sports, fitness and a healthy life-style. Differentiate instruction to fulfill each child's IEP Utilize a wide variety of assistive technology to meet the diverse instructional needs of students Collaborate with professional staff using a team approach Provide supervision, guidance, and assistance to classroom aides, one-to-one nurses, and volunteers. Work closely with families on behalf of the students
