The Aggregation and Distribution Program (DMAC) operates under the Rio Grande Community Development Corporation and works in close coordination with Delicious New Mexico to support statewide food distribution. The program focuses on strengthening supply chain infrastructure through aggregation, storage, and coordinated logistics that connect New Mexico producers to retail, institutional, and community markets. With the addition of a new aggregation center, DMAC, the program will expand capacity, improve efficiency, and deepen collaboration across local and regional food systems.Position Overview:
Production Line Workers are responsible for receiving, processing, packaging, storing, and preparing fresh produce for distribution while maintaining food safety, quality, and sanitation standards. Employees are expected to work safely, efficiently, and as part of a team to meet daily production and customer requirements.Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and store incoming produce. Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures. Wash, trim, sort, cut, package, and label produce according to company standards. Assemble and prepare customer orders for delivery. Inspect products for quality and remove damaged or unacceptable items. Maintain clean and organized work areas, equipment, and coolers. Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of workstations and equipment. Follow all food safety, sanitation, GMP, and company policies and procedures. Safely operate approved equipment and use required personal protective equipment (PPE). Report food safety, quality, or equipment concerns to the Facility Manager. Perform other duties as assigned.Position Summary :
We are seeking Production Line Workers to prepare fresh produce for distribution at a new food aggregation and distribution facility (DMAC). Physical Requirements- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work in refrigerated environments.
- Perform repetitive lifting, bending, reaching, and carrying throughout the workday.
