Job Description
Visiontron is a family-owned manufacturing company located in Holtsville, NY . For more than 60 years on Long Island , we have manufactured high-quality people guidance and crowd-control products used by businesses and organizations across the country. We're looking for an experienced Skilled Production Assembler who knows their way around a manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing quality work efficiently. This is a hands-on position assembling finished products and components using a variety of materials, tools, fixtures, and production methods. Our operations range from specialized dedicated work cells to flexible, on-demand assemblies. Quality, accuracy, productivity, and strong mechanical ability are essential to success in this position. What You'll Do Assemble finished products and components made from metal, plastic, wood, and other materials. Use hand tools, power tools, fixtures, jigs, and other production equipment to complete assemblies. Measure, fit, align, fasten, adjust, and assemble components according to product requirements. Read and follow work instructions, drawings, measurements, and production specifications. Set up and use appropriate tools and fixtures for different assembly operations. Inspect work throughout the assembly process to ensure proper fit, function, and appearance. Troubleshoot fit or assembly issues and make appropriate adjustments. Work efficiently to meet production requirements while maintaining quality standards. Work independently and as part of a production team. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. What We're Looking for in You 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or similar experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrated ability to work with your hands. Experience using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, jigs, measuring tools, and production equipment. Experience assembling metal products or components strongly preferred. Ability to accurately measure, fit, align, fasten, and assemble components. Ability to understand how components fit and work together within a finished assembly. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work at a productive pace without sacrificing accuracy or quality. Ability to follow instructions and complete work independently. Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented. Ability to read and understand English-language work instructions, safety information, measurements, and production documentation. Why Visiontron?
