Lancaster, NY  Job Description This role involves assembling mechanical components and products based on engineering drawings and specifications. Technicians use hand and power tools, perform quality checks, and document production activities to ensure standards are met. Responsibilities include interpreting technical instructions, packaging finished products, maintaining a clean workspace aligned with 6S standards, following safety protocols, and working both independently and collaboratively. Assemblers handle large electro-mechanical components, including metal frames, piping, wiring harnesses, and cooling modules. Responsibilities Interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. Assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools. Conduct quality checks and document production activities. Package components and final products. Maintain a clean, organized workspace aligned with 6S standards. Adhere to all safety protocols. Perform additional tasks as assigned. Essential Skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Experience with mechanical assembly and quality checks. Ability to perform tasks independently and as part of a team. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
