Job Description:

Job Description Position Purpose:

Responsible for riveting brake lining onto brake shoes.

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.00

• $22.

35 (+$0.90 for 2 nd shift, + $1.00 for 3 rd shift)

Essential Functions:

Verifies correct parts Loads shoe into riveter Gauges a riveted shoe Verifies part quality Other duties as assigned

Education and Training:

High School Diploma or GED Minimum Qualifications:

Good communication skills Must be able to work independently Ability to work well with others

Physical Demands:

Must be able stand continuously for 8-12 hrs Must be able to lift up to 70lbs occasionally depending on customer orders Must be able to bend, twist and lift repetitively Use foot pedal Ability to work in tight places Good hand/eye coordination and good motor skills

Environmental Conditions:

Ear and Eye protection required at all times in production areas Exposure to a noisy work environment Exposure to hot and humid conditions Exposure to coolants, oils, grease and water Exposure to brake pad dust Steel toe boots with metatarsal guards are required at all times We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
