Job Details:
In the office- Monday through Friday 7:45 am to 4:15 p.m.
Hourly Rate:
$24-27 salary commensurate with experience.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for all Safe Flight sheet metal requirements including small quantity production work orders, engineering projects and prototype work. Responsible for riveting and air press work, including riveting autothrottle support assembly all detectors and pressing clinch nuts, standoff, etc. for all departments. Sheet Metal Work, chassis and Riveting. Read and interpret blueprints to fabricate metal parts. Work with various types of sheet metal to produce high-quality products. Operate power tools and machinery. Utilize micrometers for precise measurements and conduct quality control checks. Understand and follow schematics for assembly. Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs. Documents actions by completing production and quality forms. Maintains a safe and clean work area and equipment.
Assembler Skills/Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting Ability to use micrometers and other precision measuring tools Previous manufacturing experience Proven experience as a sheet metal fabricator or similar role Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship Compensation $24 to $27 per hour
