Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Contract Assembler to join our team at our Cincinnati, Ohio location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly of products according to specifications and quality standards. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble components accurately and efficiently according to work instructions and blueprints. Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to complete assembly tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and resolve issues. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as an assembler or in a similar role. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. Proficiency with hand tools and basic machinery. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles. Certification in assembly or related field is a plus.
