Full Job Description Refrigeration Assembler C Schedule:

Pay:
$22.75- Direct-Hire Position Summary Responsible for assembling refrigeration systems and Microclimate power packs using blueprints, mechanical drawings, flow diagrams, and established procedures. The role involves mounting completed power packs to cabinet frames, connecting refrigeration coils through interconnect piping, and ensuring accurate, high-quality assembly. Key Responsibilities Assemble refrigeration systems and power packs according to blueprints and mechanical drawings. Mount completed power packs to cabinet frames and connect coils using interconnect piping. Properly pipe refrigeration systems using flow diagrams. Perform brazing and related refrigeration assembly tasks and successfully complete a required braze test. Read parts lists, complete quality check sheets, and maintain accurate documentation. Identify material, documentation, or assembly issues and communicate them to Engineering or supervision. Train other employees as directed. Follow established procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards. Use hand and power tools, including drills, saws, wrenches, screwdrivers, channel locks, and copper cutters. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Good attendance and reliability. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow detailed procedures and instructions. Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings, parts lists, and flow diagrams. Good mathematical skills, including converting decimals to fractions. Accurate tape-measure skills. Ability to complete quality documentation. Ability to use hand and power tools.
Preferred:
Previous manufacturing or assembly experience. Education or experience in refrigeration. Experience with piping, soldering, brazing, wrapping, or mounting refrigeration components. Physical Requirements Primarily standing and hands-on work. Frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 100 lbs. with mechanical assistance or team lifting as required. Continuous lifting/carrying of items up to 20 lbs. Ability to bend, squat, kneel, reach, climb, twist, and occasionally crawl. Requires detailed hand work, fine motor skills, and repetitive grasping. Ability to work at a computer and manually enter information as needed. Periodic travel may be required. #IND1
