The Role:
Assembler The Assembler is responsible for assembling tubes and associated components while conducting thorough visual inspections to ensure product compliance with specified attribute characteristics. Additional responsibilities include packaging the assembled parts for shipment. This role demands a high degree of eye/hand coordination to maintain quality and efficiency.
Essential Functions:
Identify and verify product types according to order specifications. Remove defective materials in accordance with processing guidelines. Assemble a variety of components with precision and care. Package completed assemblies for shipment, adhering to packaging standards. Perform various overhead tasks as assigned. Follow detailed instructions and production guidelines accurately. Ensure proper lot traceability is maintained for all products. You'll be a great fit if you: Excels in hands-on tasks and enjoys working in a production environment. Range of Physical Activities:
Manual Dexterity - Must have good eye/hand coordination to perform assembly quickly. Must be responsive to tactile defects in tubing. Must be able to use weight or piece count scale. Visual Activity - Must be able to identify visual defects and color variations in tubing.
Standing/Walking:
Primarily requires standing, depending on task requirements.
Pushing/Pulling:
Ability to exert up to 20 lbs. of force.
Lifting:
Capable of lifting containers weighing up to 45 lbs. to a height of 5 feet.
Documentation:
Able to complete lot logs, notes, and labels and enter production into database.
Reading:
Competent in understanding instructions identification tags, and lot numbers on labels.
Mathematics:
Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Must be comfortable working with fractions and decimals.
Manual Dexterity:
Requires excellent hand-eye coordination for quick, precise assembly. Must be sensitive to tactile defects in tubing and proficient in consistency.
Visual Acuity:
