- Job Description Join a dedicated production team that manufactures conveyor rollers used in high-speed packaging machines.
In this role, you support general production and assembly activities, handle shipping and inventory tasks, and ensure products are accurately packaged and labeled. You work primarily on 2nd shift and help maintain a smooth, efficient production process from assembly through shipment. Responsibilities Assemble conveyor rollers and related components used in high-speed packaging machinery according to established procedures and quality standards. Perform general production duties, including operating basic equipment, staging materials, and supporting the production process as needed. Assist with inventory activities such as counting, tracking, and organizing materials, parts, and finished products. Use shipping software to prepare orders for shipment, including entering data, printing labels, and confirming shipments. Package and label products accurately to ensure correct identification, protection, and presentation for customers. Follow work orders and production schedules to meet deadlines and maintain efficient workflow. Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety guidelines and procedures. Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in different areas of production, assembly, shipping, or inventory as business needs change. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report issues, share updates, and support continuous improvement. Essential Skills Experience in general production or manufacturing environments. Understanding of basic production processes, including assembly and workflow. Hands-on experience with assembly tasks, preferably involving mechanical or component assembly. Familiarity with inventory activities such as counting, tracking, and organizing materials. Experience with shipping processes, including packaging, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment. Ability to use shipping software or basic computer systems to enter data and generate labels. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain orderly work areas. Flexibility and ability to work beyond the scheduled shift when required. High attention to detail to ensure accurate labeling, packaging, and documentation. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding production environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing, packaging, or logistics setting. Comfort working with both manual and basic automated tools used in assembly and packaging. Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and support shared goals. Reliability and strong work ethic, including consistent attendance and punctuality. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a production facility that is not temperature controlled, meaning it can be hot during the summer and cold during the winter. You may be somewhat exposed to the elements when dock doors are open. The environment is active and hands-on, with regular movement between production, assembly, inventory, and shipping areas. Standard facility hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with this position working primarily on a 2nd shift schedule of 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday, and occasional work beyond the scheduled shift as needed. You should be prepared to dress appropriately for varying temperatures and a physically active production setting Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Loveland, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
