Schedule:
First Shift | Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM (occasional Saturdays and overtime as needed)

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a motivated Fabrication Associate to support one of the nation's leading distributors of plumbing supplies, PVF, waterworks, fire protection fabrication products, HVAC equipment, and industrial solutions. What You'll Do
As a Fabrication Associate, you'll play a key role in pipe fabrication operations and material handling activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Moving loose or bundled pipe throughout the shop and yard
- Assembling customer pipe orders, including individual pipe lengths and bundled materials
- Operating forklifts and powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA andpany safety standards
- Setting up, operating, and maintaining fabrication equipment
- Measuring, recording, and calculating pipe lengths accurately
- Cutting pipe using band saws, torches, and other fabrication equipment
- Threading and beveling pipe using Landis machines and related machinery
- Performing quality inspections using gauges, tape measures, and other measuring tools
- Organizing materials and maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- Inspecting and performing basic maintenance checks on forklift equipment
- Following detailed fabrication, assembly, stacking, and shipping procedures
- Collaborating with team members to meet production goals and customer expectations
- Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6-8 months of recent experience operating machinery in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial setting
Experience with equipment such as:
Pipe threaders
Band saws
Roll groove machines
Plasma cutting equipment
Automatic welding machines
Pneumatic banders
Ability to accurately read and use tape measures
Experience using gauges for quality inspections
3-6 months of forklift experience
Strong math skills and ability to calculate quantities and measurements
Good verbal and writtenmunication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to follow directions, take initiative, and maintain a safety-focused mindset
Basicputer skills to support automated machinery operations
Ability to handle and move pipe ranging from ½" to 10" in diameter
Preferred Qualifications
6-8 months of fire sprinkler pipe fabrication experience
Experience in industries such as:
Auto mechanics
Diesel mechanics
Machinery maintenance
Automotive manufacturing
Farm equipment maintenance and repair
Knowledge of pipe yard operations and safe material handling practices
Work Environment
Non-climate-controlled fabrication facility
Work area can be hot during warmer months
Active industrial setting requiring movement, lifting, and machine operation

Pay Details:
$20.00 per hour
