Electric-Mechanical Assembler Job Description Join our team as an Electric-Mechanical Assembler, where you will be instrumental in assembling large switch gear cabinets designed to hold electrical panels. Your role will involve working closely with engineered drawings and blueprints to meet specific client specifications. Responsibilities Assemble parts from the fabrication department to create large switch gear cabinets. Work on both mechanical and electrical components, ensuring flexibility with electrical panel assembly. Utilize hand and power tools for sheet metal and industrial assembly. Interpret blueprints and schematics accurately. Collaborate with a team of assemblers, maintaining a positive attitude and strong team spirit. Adapt to varying daily tasks based on production needs. Essential Skills Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Experience in sheet metal, electrical, and industrial assembly. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Capability to stand for extended periods, up to 10 hours per day. Additional Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of experience in large mechanical assembly preferred. Forklift operation skills are advantageous. Strong mechanical assembly and production experience. Why Work Here? The first shift operates Monday-Friday from 8am to 4:30pm, with potential overtime on Saturdays. The second shift runs from 4:30pm to 12:30am. Safety orientation is provided on the first day, followed by hands-on training with a fellow assembler, ensuring teamwork and support throughout the assembly process. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.55 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
