This role prioritizes safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise, a passion for electronics or AV systems, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. What You'll Do Assemble, test, and troubleshoot wiring and equipment for commercial AV, lighting, and security systems. Follow safety protocols, wear protective gear, and use appropriate hand and power tools. Interpret and execute tasks based on blueprints, drawings, and AV/construction specifications. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary documents, techniques, and procedures. Work independently or collaboratively to meet project deadlines. What We're Looking For Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Construction, or a related field is preferred. Commercial installation experience in the AV industry or related fields and prior commercial construction experience are desired. Proficient in soldering and crimping connectors (XLR, RJ45, TRS, BNC, F-CONN). Familiarity with interpreting construction and AV drawings. Certifications in audio DSP (e.g., Biamp, ClearOne, Polycom), video processing platforms (e.g., Extron, Jupiter, Christie), or control systems (e.g., AMX, Crestron, Extron) are highly valued. CTS or CTS-I certification is a plus. Skilled in using basic hand and power tools; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet applications.

Physical Requirements The combination of physical and mental requirements is necessary for completing the responsibilities, essential functions, and meeting the demands of the role. The employee must have the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, climb ladders up to 20 feet tall, and work in extreme weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures. They may also be required to work in dusty or unclean environments, confined spaces, and on uneven surfaces. Safety is paramount, necessitating effective communication with colleagues and constant alertness to surroundings. The employee will be frequently required to stand, walk, reach, climb, and perform tasks that involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Additionally, the job may require long hours, night shifts, weekend work, and holiday commitments, including extensive travel for weeks at a time. The employee must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner to meet deadlines and effectively communicate to successfully perform all required responsibilities.
