Job Description
Perform packaging operations on a variety of metal and vinyl products. Responsibilities Refer to work schedules to determine items to be processed and receive verbal instructions from others regarding daily assignments. Operate packaging operations on metal products. Monitor continually for acceptable quality. Replenish supply as needed. Set up and change over as needed. Catch products coming off the end of the line and stack. Complete production records. Maintain work areas in a clean, orderly fashion. Dispose of scrap materials in appropriate containers. As directed, perform associated duties of equal or less difficulty. Must be able to always interact with employees professionally. Minimum Qualifications Able to work and communicate with others and follow direct orders. Good hand and eye coordination. Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, dividing, and multiplying). Basic writing skills are required to complete daily production records. Basic verbal communication skills are required to transfer or interpret the explanation of problems and to receive and understand work assignments. Equipment Used and Work Environment (Machines, devices, tools, personal protective equipment, etc. used on this job) Hearing protection, Eye protection Safety shoes Machines are used in an area without air conditioning.
