ASSEMBLY TECH

The Assembly Technician I is responsible for making sure all parts are assembled correctly before passing on to final test. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Ability to read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) drawings and blueprints. Cut and thread piping. Must be able to read a tape measure to within 1/16 of an inch. Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision. Knowledge of pipe fittings, valves, and switches. Ability to operate a forklift and crane. Perform other duties as assigned. Competencies Technical Capacity. Time Management. Thoroughness. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent (GED). 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience and/or training. Possession of strong organizational skills.
