In this role, you will be responsible for assembling complex electrical wiring harnesses used in a variety of electronic and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure that each harness meets rigorous quality standard inspections set by Shen Te Enterprises Inc. and Boeing. Responsibilities Assemble wire harnesses by following detailed schematics, diagrams, and work instructions, ensuring accuracy and quality at every step. Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to cut, strip, crimp, solder, and connect wires and components according to IPC 610 standards. Interpret electrical schematics and PCB (Printed Circuit Board) layouts to correctly wire components and assemblies. Conduct testing of assembled harnesses using ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices to verify continuity and proper function. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols related to electrical wiring, soldering, and mechanical assembly. Collaborate with engineering teams to review schematics, troubleshoot issues, and improve assembly processes. Document assembly steps, inspection results, and test data accurately for quality control purposes. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing or electrical wiring assembly with a focus on PCB integration and surface mount technology (SMT). Strong knowledge of electrical wiring techniques, schematics reading, and soldering standards such as IPC 610. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their role in automated systems is a plus. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools such as calipers, wire strippers, crimpers, soldering irons, power tools, and other machining equipment. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and schematics related to electrical assemblies. Experience working with electrical components like connectors, terminals, resistors, capacitors, and circuit boards. Attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity for precise assembly tasks. Basic understanding of electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting. Strong safety awareness when working with electrical systems and power tools. Prior experience in manufacturing environments involving surface mount technology or PCB assembly is highly desirable.
