This position assembles and disassembles Powertrain components used in the Off Highway heavy equipment industry, mostly transmissions, torque converters and axles.

Responsibilities:

Teardown and assembly of Powertrain components used in the heavy equipment industry, mostly transmissions, converters and axles Identifying and inspecting component parts for wear and compatibility. Making repairs and modifications of components using assembly schematics and bill of materials Ideal candidates have the following skills and experience: Basic mechanical skills and excellent mechanical aptitude Prior experience in mechanical assembly and repair, troubleshooting knowledge and excellent assembly techniques. Ability to understand and follow assembly schematics and bills of materials. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment Must be reliable, detail oriented, self-motivated and have excellent attendance

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Ability to work in an environment subject to fluctuations in heat, humidity, fumes, odors, dust, and noise Ability to meet the physical demands of the position Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Other details:

Hours:

Full time weekdays, 7am to 4pm, occasional overtime.

Pay Rate:

starting at $24/ hour DOE

Position Type:
