Chris King Precision Components is a U.S. manufacturer of the finest bicycle components in the world. We are a socially and environmentally minded company and take pride in each and every part that gets made under one roof right here in Portland, Oregon. We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you will assemble precision components, inspect products for quality, and help ensure our customers receive exceptional products. If you enjoy working with your hands, have a strong mechanical aptitude, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment, we'd love to hear from you. Schedule for this role 40 hours per week. May choose to work either 4x10 or 5x8 schedule between the hours of 6:30 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. What You'll Do Assemble parts and components according to specifications and work instructions. Perform repetitive assembly operations with a high degree of accuracy. Inspect components and finished products to ensure quality standards are met. Package completed products and prepare materials for shipment. Maintain inventory accuracy and production records. Support continuous workflow and assist with other production duties as needed. What We're Looking For Assembly or manufacturing experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Basic math, measuring, and computer skills. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work efficiently while meeting production goals. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow written instructions and technical documentation.
Physical Requirements This position requires:
Frequent use of hands and fingers to assemble small parts. Standing and sitting throughout the workday. Close visual attention to detail and color identification. Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds. Reaching, bending, twisting, and other physical movements associated with manufacturing work. Work Environment This is a manufacturing environment where employees may occasionally be exposed to noise, temperature variations, airborne particles, solvents, lubricants, and other common production conditions.
