Job Opportunity:
Full-Time Fabrication Technician Trainee Olsson Industrial Electric is a leader in the industrial electric arena. We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Fabrication Technician Trainee . This is an entry-level position designed for someone who wants to learn the trade and build a long-term career in metal fabrication. No prior experience is required - we will provide hands-on training and mentorship to help you grow into a skilled fabricator. As you gain skills and experience increase, advancement opportunities within our shop will become available. Job Responsibilities As a Fabrication Technician Trainee, you will: Assist senior fabricators with daily shop tasks. Learn to use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. Prepare and organize materials for projects. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Develop skills in welding, cutting, measuring, and assembly. Qualifications We are looking for candidates who demonstrate: A strong work ethic and willingness to learn Attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic mechanical aptitude (preferred, but not required) Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs Reliability in reporting to work and working safely and efficiently Clean driving record Delivery of materials and equipment

Wage:
