At National Fire Fighter, we don't build parts—we build custom Wildland firefighting equipment that firefighters rely on when lives, homes, and communities are on the line. If you're an experienced aluminum TIG welder who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys custom fabrication, and wants your work to make a real difference, we'd like to meet you. What You'll Do Perform TIG and MIG welding using materials including aluminum and stainless steel to fabricate and assemble components for Type 3-7 Wildland Fire Fighting skid units. Ensure all welds meet company and customer quality standards for strength, durability, and performance in demanding field conditions. Inspect welded and assembled components for quality and product safety, making adjustments or repairs as needed to meet specifications. Assemble complete skid units to specifications, including structural frames, tanks, pumps, motors, mounting brackets, and related components. Perform skid unit layout, fit-up, fabrication, and finishing work. Assemble and test new pumps and motors, with the opportunity to learn repair work as your experience grows. Perform hose pressure testing and couple hose to customer specifications as needed. Replace worn or damaged components and assist with general skid unit troubleshooting. Follow all required safety procedures, including PPE and equipment-operation standards, to maintain a safe shop environment. Accurately document work progress, quality concerns, and issues requiring follow-up. Share ideas that improve fabrication, assembly, staging, shop organization, quality, and production efficiency. Cross-train in pump repair, hose building, skid unit assembly, and general skid unit troubleshooting. Who You Are Fiercely Reliable and Dependable

We're Looking For Proven TIG welding experience. Ability to read fabrication drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude and assembly skills. Experience with measuring tools.
