In this role, you will assemble wooden roof trusses by precisely positioning lumber and securing metal connector plates according to shop drawings and design specifications. Responsibilities:

Read and interpret tape measurements accurately to ensure precise cuts and proper assembly of materials.

Support general labor duties such as moving materials, staging components, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Follow all safety procedures and use tools and equipment properly to maintain a safe work environment.

Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and layout sheets to assemble components accurately.

Safely use hand and power tools, including nail guns, saws, hammers, and heavy presses.

Verify all angles, measurements, and connector plates meet exact engineering specifications and structural codes.

Move, stack, and load lumber and finished trusses using forklifts or manual lifting.

Education:
