About the Company AFC Industries PA, Inc. is a manufacturing company based in Berwick, PA, specializing in the design and production of ergonomic interactive technical products. We support a wide range of industries, including medical and healthcare, public safety and mission control, government agencies, IT, and financial services. Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our production team. This position is responsible for assembling components, inspecting parts, and supporting general production activities. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and able to work accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Shift Both part time and full time opportunities available. First
  • Monday through Friday 7:00am
  • 3:30pm Second
  • Monday through Thursday 3:30pm
  • 2:00am Responsibilities
  • Assemble components according to work instructions, drawings, and specifications
  • Verify parts and materials for accuracy, quality, and completeness before and during assembly
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks
  • Perform visual inspections to ensure finished products meet quality standards
  • Document completed work as required and maintain accurate production records
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workstation
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality guidelines
  • Communicate issues, defects, or material shortages to supervisors in a timely manner
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
  • Assist in other production or assembly areas as assigned Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, assembly drawings, or written procedures
  • Basic experience using hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or production setting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and willingness to ask questions when needed
  • Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for 8-10 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs as required
  • Strong visual acuity to identify small parts and verify product quality
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Willingness to assist in other production areas as needed
