1 MSA Safety in Cranberry Township, PA is now hiring for Assembler Sensor Manufacturing associate for our manufacturing plant. In this role you will be responsible for the assembly, modification, and rework of moderately complex combustible, electro-chemical and infrared sensors and/or sub-assemblies requiring wiring, soldering, and connecting. Position is also responsible for testing and troubleshooting. Adherence to safety, housekeeping and quality standards as related to production and company objectives is required. In addition, this position is responsible for maintaining production goals through productivity targets and cost containment by eliminating waste. Assemble and test (including set-up), complex combustible, electro-chemical or infrared sensors and/or sub-assemblies requiring wiring and soldering. Some troubleshooting required. Pick material out of the warehouse. Perform visual inspections and minor repairs and rework. Complete and maintain relevant paperwork and input information in computer system.

Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:

Strong manual dexterity requiring fine finger manipulation and hand steadiness. Willingness to work on various product groups and work flexible shifts.

Ability to:
