UnityLab Corp. is Hiring At Harvis, Inc. we work to support business owners, their managers and Human Resource "departments of one" giving them a trusted HR Partner. Harvis is not a temporary staffing agency. We partner with clients to help identify and hire the right employees. Our client, UnityLab Corp., located in Dushore, PA is searching for a Fabrication Technician to join their team in a full-time position. UnityLab Corp. specializes in manufacturing commercial appliances that work hard for small businesses and organizations. We put all our passion and design expertise into every product that carries our brand and are deeply committed to helping our customers use our products to their fullest potential. As a Fabrication Technician, you will be responsible for welding metal parts including ASME pressure vessels per production plan. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Interested applicants should have:
1. Ability to read and understand blueprints prior to starting a project. 2. Ability to identify materials to be used, measure and cut materials to specifications. 3. Weld assemblies using the correct materials and techniques to join the metals together. 4. Check finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints. 5. Experience and Skills:
Required Education/Experience/Skills:
High school diploma or GED 3-5 years prior experience welding ASME pressure vessels preferred Prior knowledge of various welding techniques Ability to read blueprints and properly measure parts to ensure parts are to print and within tolerance Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with ability to construct effective communications verbally and in writing Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills required
