Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and inspecting various mechanical components and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and experience reading schematics and blueprints. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing processes while working in a dynamic and safety-focused environment. Duties Assemble mechanical components accurately according to detailed schematics, blueprints, and work instructions. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify component dimensions. Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide assembly procedures. Conduct quality inspections throughout the assembly process to identify defects or deviations. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards. Support fabrication tasks including welding, soldering, machining, and material handling as needed. Assist with warehouse activities such as inventory management and forklift operation when required. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve assembly workflows. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing or assembly environments with a strong mechanical background. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and fabrication techniques. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and machining processes. Ability to operate forklifts safely; warehouse experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity for precise assembly tasks. Basic understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and quality standards. Prior experience working with manufacturing software or systems is advantageous. Pay:
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
