Electromechanical Assembler 2ndShift:
2:45pm-11pm, OT finishes at 1:15am - 6 openingsPay:
$20-$26 Responsibilities Convert raw materials into finished cable assemblies. Assemble simple point-to-point cables and connectors. Complete in-process inspections. Interface with computer software to locate documents, follow work instructions, and complete accurate data entry. Demonstrate proper use of basic hand tools. Perform testing and troubleshooting of cables. Use measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, rulers, and tape measures to verify dimensions and tolerances. Essential Skills 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a production or assembly environment. Experience with manufacturing assembly or electromechanical assembly. Ability to accurately measure using a ruler or tape measure. Capability to perform testing and troubleshooting of cables to ensure correct operation and acceptable frequency performance. Proficiency with hand tools, including soldering guns, wrenches, hand strippers, trimmers, wire cutters, and chop saws. Ability to use measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers. Strong computer skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with inspection assembly processes. Experience using testing equipment, including scopes or x-ray testing systems, is a plus. Exposure to thru-hole soldering standards; formal soldering certifications are not required but are considered ideal. Familiarity with electromechanical assembly in a cable, connector, or similar manufacturing environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pottstown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
