    Wire Harness Assembler
  • Job Description
  • We are seeking a skilled Wire Harness Assembler to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in wire cutting, stripping, and crimping, along with connector installation and termination. Additional tasks will include soldering, cable routing, and harness board assembly. You will work with wiring diagrams and schematics, conduct electrical continuity testing, and use hand tools and wire-processing equipment. This role involves binding wires or cables to form wire harnesses used in electronic and electrical systems.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Follow safety standards and policies, wearing personal protective clothing. + Learn to read and interpret drawings and schematics. + Operate a computer for various tasks. + Adhere to step-by-step assembly procedures to meet production expectations. + Participate actively in the Lean Program (5S Program).
  • Essential Skills
  • + Experience with wire harness assembly and manufacturing. + Proficiency in wiring, crimping, and the use of hand tools and power tools. + Computer skills for reading schematics and other tasks. + Ability to work independently and follow company policies and procedures. + Punctuality, ethical behavior, and teamwork.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + Bi-lingual abilities are advantageous. + Experience in small wiring or crimping can lead to higher pay rates. + Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

  • Work Environment
  • The work environment is a very clean setting with a normal shift starting at 4 am. Expect to work 8-12 hours per day with occasional overtime on weekends. You will be stationed at a workstation and must be able to use a touchscreen.
  • Job Type & Location
  • This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reading, PA.
  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
