GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Under supervision of the President, the Production Lead oversees all aspects of the manufacturing floor, such as assigning tasks, employee training and safety, supporting company policy, and ensuring manufacturing personnel meet performance schedules.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Mastery of the skills of a Level 1 and Level 2 Assembler Attends meetings as required to assist in creating a manufacturing schedule each month. Identifies any potential manufacturing issues such as lack (or excess) of manpower, component parts issues, or the need to purchase or maintain tooling. Identifies each employees' strengths and weaknesses and assigns tasks accordingly. Monitors work in process and ensures, that qualified employees are performing tasks correctly. Takes pride in consistently meeting shipping schedules with quality product and reports and potential problems to the President CompletesWHMA-620
training and maintains quality levels that meet these standards. Works closely with all team members to support the goals of the organization. Makes recommendations to the President regarding improvements. Evaluates the requirement for protective gear and implements accordingly.Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years' experience working in a cable/harness manufacturing environment. Experience with supervising hourly employees with excellent interpersonal skillsPHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Is not color blind. Ability to meet quality standards and maintain production schedules. Ability to read and understand blueprints/engineering drawings. Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions. Ability to work overtime as requested. Ability to with minimal to no supervision. Maintains a positive, ambitious, attitude toward self and provides good example for others.
