Schedule:
8-hour shift Monday to Friday Punctuality and Dependability a must - 5 days per week - 8 hours per day, overtime when required. Position requires open communications with Supervisors, co-workers, and management. Specific vision abilities require close, distance and color vision, peripheral and depth perception. Second shift
Differential Pay:
$2.00/hr. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Transports specified parts from storage to work area by fork truck or overhead crane. Plans assembly procedures, following blueprints, diagrams, process sheets and schematic drawings. Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly problems. Aligns components, and bolts screws, rivets them together, drills and taps holes in specific locations. Removes any burrs and rough surfaces from metal parts and cleans parts to product close fit between parts. Bolts, screws and rivets parts together. Examines parts for defects and reworks, repairs, or replaces defective parts. Enters information into production records, logs, and other report forms. Cleans work area, machine tools and equipment. Disassemble and assemble products as instructed by Segment Dept. Manager. Records and/or identifies parts. Perform work in times allotted by Segment Dept. Manager. Maintain a clean working environment. Perform work for other manufacturing departments as required. Must work from Cunova procedures, work instructions and methods.
