In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and quality of assembly line equipment and processes. Your expertise will help maintain high standards of manufacturing efficiency, precision, and continuous improvement within our facility. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a dynamic environment dedicated to excellence in industrial engineering and manufacturing. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of assembly line machinery and industrial equipment to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations. Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures or quality issues, identifying underlying problems and implementing corrective actions. Utilize AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and other CAD software to review schematics, modify designs, and support fabrication or tooling adjustments. Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robot programming systems, CNC machines, and CAM software to optimize manufacturing processes. Assist with machining, CNC programming, plastics injection molding, welding, and fabrication tasks using hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and GD&T standards. Support process engineering initiatives by applying lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement strategies, and factory best practices aligned with
ISO 9001
standards. Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to support electrical wiring tasks and industrial equipment maintenance within the factory environment. Qualifications Proven experience in manufacturing or factory settings with a strong understanding of assembly line operations. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo for schematics review and design modifications. Knowledge of CNC programming, CAM programming, robotics, PLCs, welding techniques, and plastics injection molding processes. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools like calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. Ability to perform root cause analysis efficiently while supporting continuous improvement efforts. Familiarity with industrial engineering concepts including process optimization, lean manufacturing principles, and factory safety standards. Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting electrical wiring or mechanical issues. Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
