Assembler Job Description As an assembler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of materials used in panel assembly. This position requires reviewing shop packets, bills of material, and engineering documents to confirm that incoming materials meet the required standards of quantity, quality, and part number. You will focus on assembling panels, selecting parts, tools, and equipment for quality assembly, and performing dimensional checks. Your role includes packaging completed components for shipment and performing operator maintenance on departmental tools and equipment. Responsibilities Review shop packets, bills of material, and engineering documents. Ensure incoming materials meet quantity, quality, and part number requirements. Focus on panel assembly using hand tools. Select parts, tools, and equipment for quality assembly. Follow inspection specifications and perform dimensional checks. Package completed components for shipment. Perform operator maintenance on departmental tools and equipment. Essential Skills Experience working on an assembly line. Proficiency in using hand and power tools for panel assembly. Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and shop packets. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in packing, unloading, and stand-up forklift operation. Preferred experience in warehouse inventory. Ability to perform advanced assembly of complex components and systems. 2-3 years of experience in complex assembly operations preferred.
