Bring your hands-on mechanical and electrical expertise to a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Westerly, RI, where you'll build and support large capital equipment with real impact on customer operations. In this Machinery Assembly & Service Technician opportunity, you'll assemble industrial machinery, troubleshoot issues in the shop and field, and help deliver acceptance testing and operator training on-site. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Machinery Assembly & Service Technician position include:
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic schematics
- Mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skills
- Basic electrical wiring and control familiarity
- Assemble machinery and subassemblies per drawings, procedures, and specifications
- Drill, tap, ream, align, and secure machine components
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and performance issues in the shop and field
- Perform acceptance testing and document all work completely in field service reports
Salary:
$24.00 - $33.00 per hour
Benefits:
Employer covers 70% of health insurance; dental, vision, 401(k) match after 6 months vested at 3%; 5 sick days; PTO starts at 8 days, increases to 13 days after 3 years and 18 days after 5 years.
