•Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will assemble and inspect products to ensure top quality. Work with a dedicated team to meet production goals and contribute to our manufacturing success. You will report directly to our Operations Manager or Production Supervisor, and you will work out of our Woonsocket, RI location on an On-site work schedule. The Assembler Level 2 in the Film Processing Department is critical to the fabrication and testing of resistofilm components utilized in potentiometers. This role involves a variety of processes, including the preparation of the resistive mix, application of carbon and silver mixtures onto Mylar/Kapton sheets or molded substrates through spraying or screen printing, and subsequent curing, cutting, abrading, and testing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Fabricate and test resistofilm components according to established procedures and specifications Conduct the chemical composition of the resistive mix Apply carbon and silver mixtures onto substrates using appropriate methods (spraying/screen printing) Cure the applied films to meet required resistance tolerances Cut, abrade, and test the resistive elements using specified equipment Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with clean room protocols Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum of 2 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing Proficiency with common hand tools Vision must be correctable to 20/20 and must not exhibit color blindness
WE VALUE
High school diploma or equivalent Experience with using film cutters and inspection tools (microscopes, magnifying lamps) Familiarity with SAP or similar inventory and reporting systems Experienced with AC & DC power supplies Job training or experience in a relevant electrical or mechanical industry is preferred. Prior experience working in a clean room environment is a valuable asset Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status. The annual base salary range for this position is $43,800.00 to 65,800.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
