Job Title:
Assembler Job Description Join our dynamic and fast-paced job shop in Ladson, SC as an Assembly/Fabricator. This hands-on role involves supporting the fabrication, fit-up, and assembly of custom metal parts and assemblies. Ideal candidates are those who thrive on variety, take pride in quality workmanship, and can adapt to different tasks daily. Responsibilities Assemble fabricated metal components according to prints, sketches, or verbal instructions. Safely and effectively use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and work orders. Measure and verify parts using tape measures, squares, and calipers. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all shop safety procedures and quality standards. Assist with material handling, staging, and packaging of finished products. Essential Skills Experience in assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing. Ability to read a tape measure and follow instructions accurately. Comfortable working in a shop environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in reading blueprints. Experience with hand and power tools. Mechanical assembly and fitting skills. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
