Peak Workforce Solutions (NEWBOLD
SERVICES
) is currently hiring for Assemblers in Manning, SC Pay rate is $17.00/hour. 1st shift is Monday thru Friday 7:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. 2nd Shift Monday thru Friday 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate production line machinery and computers Troubleshoot production line machinery Perform change-overs Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary to produce within specifications. Reject product outside of specification. Operate within standard operating procedures. Perform basic preventative maintenance on production line machinery. Communication with Operators and Supervisors Clean and maintain work area. Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use Accurately complete process documents Complete daily production reports as necessary. Perform back-up for others as required Provide on-the-job training to new employees Order raw materials and supplies Able to read a tape measure Promote teamwork and build a culture of continuous improvement Other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Experience working in manufacturing preferred Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required. Able to work overtime as needed. Able to perform all duties and responsibilities listed safely and wear required Personal Protective Equipment. Able to report to every work day, on time and for the entire shift Must have positive attitude and strong work ethics,
