Job Description

Position OverviewThe Assembler is responsible for manufacturing and assembling medical devices in a clean, safety-focused production environment. This role includes assembly, inspection, testing, packaging, machine operation, and basic equipment troubleshooting while following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.

This is a hands-on manufacturing position working on a production floor. It is not a warehouse-only, shipping-only, or office-based role.

Candidates must be comfortable standing for long periods, following detailed instructions, working overnight shifts, and maintaining consistent attendance and quality standards.

Education
  • High school diploma or Equivalent
  • Technical or vocational training related to manufacturing is a plus Certifications
  • Manufacturing or safety certifications are a plus Required Experience
  • 0-1 year of manufacturing, assembly, production, or related experience
  • Experience working in fast-paced or repetitive work environments
  • Experience following written instructions or standard operating procedures Tech Skills
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions in English
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to use measurement and inspection tools such as microscopes
  • Basic machine operation or troubleshooting ability preferred Soft Skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work safely and follow procedures consistently
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Flexibility to rotate between tasks and workstations
  • Good communication skills Preferred Experience
  • Medical device, clean room, or regulated manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience performing quality inspections preferred
  • Experience working overnight or rotating schedules preferred Responsibilities
  • Assemble, test, inspect, and package medical devices according to company procedures
  • Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Follow all SOPs, safety rules, and quality standards
  • Perform visual inspections and quality checks on products
  • Use microscopes and basic measurement tools as needed
  • Report equipment issues, defects, or safety concerns to leadership
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Rotate between workstations and tasks as assigned
  • Meet production and quality expectations consistently
  • Work scheduled overnight shifts, including weekends as required Physical Requirements
  • Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods during shifts
  • Lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Perform repetitive hand movements and detailed assembly work
  • Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts consistently
  • Eye exam required before starting
