JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Powdercoat in Wellford, SC . Our client is a Tool Making Company . The Powdercoat is responsible for keeping the Powdercoat system running smoothly and efficiently with constant attention to quality and efficiency . This is a 2nd shift position, training will be on 1st shift for approximately a month . Schedule - (Training) 6am-3pm Monday-Thursday, 6am-12pm Friday (Once Trained) 3pm-1am Monday-Thursday Responsibilities of a Powdercoat includes : Accurate and efficient coating of products according to specs Maintain conscious attention to quality and efficiency in output of product Focus on perfecting speed and accuracy and increasing knowledge of product line Seek safer and more productive ways to powdercoat products Check product quality and report quality issues to Lead Powdercoat Job Requirements of a
Powdercoat:
When Powdercoat line is not running, assist in any other areas of shop and assembly as instructed Ensure all tools and equipment are clean and in good working condition and report any defective tools to Lead Powdercoat Empty trash in Powdercoat areas
SAFETY / HOUSEKEEPING
Always work in a safe manner and ensure co-workers do the same Operate forklift in a safe manner as learned in forklift training course Use all safety attire/equipment as needed to complete the job Maintain a neat and orderly work area, including floor space, shelving and work stations Before leaving each day, ensure all tools are unplugged and all exhaust hoods turned off Maintain all tools and equipment in clean, working condition Report any defective tools or equipment to the for repair or replacement
REQUIRED
Experience and Education:
HS Diploma or GED required

From $20.00 per hour
