Job Description

Assembler - Express Employment Professionals Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembler to support business cell operations. This role is responsible for producing high-quality products that meet customer specifications and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform light assembly of fuel/oxy heating, welding, cutting, and regulation products according to specifications and procedures. Set up and operate machines, processes, and equipment as required. Conduct inspections, tests, and audits on products and components to ensure quality standards are met. Diagnose issues, perform repairs, and use appropriate measurement and testing tools to maintain product consistency. Ensure all parts meet specifications, finish requirements, and handling procedures using proper documentation. Follow proper storage, handling, and disposal procedures for materials, including hazardous materials when applicable. Assist with maintaining department supplies and consumables. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and suggesting process improvements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Troubleshoot, maintain, and perform routine/preventative maintenance on machines and equipment. Maintain accurate department records in accordance with established procedures. Proactively identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity using the Quality Management System.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. No allergies to oils, solvents, or related materials. Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods (up to a full shift). Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams. #1437ST
