Floor Supervisor Job Summary:
The Assembly Plant Worker is responsible for the timely and accurate assembly of pressure, level, temperature, or flow switch products, ensuring adherence to quality standards and on-time delivery schedules. This role requires punctuality, proactive communication regarding production barriers, and a commitment to minimizing waste and maximizing productivity within a standard 40-hour work week. The incumbent will play a critical role in maintaining efficient production flow and delivering high-quality products to meet customer demands.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assembly and Quality:
Accurately assemble pressure, level, temperature, or flow switch products according to established procedures, blueprints, and quality standards. Perform necessary checks and inspections during the assembly process to ensure product quality, correct configuration, and functionality.
On-Time Delivery:
Prioritize and execute assembly tasks to meet production targets and ensure timely completion of orders, contributing directly to on-time delivery goals.
Punctuality and Attendance:
Maintain consistent and punctual attendance, adhering to the scheduled work hours to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
Communication of Production Barriers:
Proactively monitor inventory levels of required components and immediately communicate any instances where low inventory limits are reached or anticipated, potentially hindering production.
Supplier Quality Awareness:
Remain vigilant for any potential quality issues related to supplied components and promptly report any observed defects or inconsistencies to the appropriate supervisor or quality control personnel.
Scrap and Waste Reduction:
Be mindful of material usage and strive to minimize scrap and waste during the assembly process, contributing to cost-effectiveness and environmental responsibility.
Productivity and Efficiency:
Work diligently and efficiently throughout the 40-hour work week to achieve production goals and contribute to a productive and positive work environment. Adherence to
Procedures:
Follow all established safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies.
Teamwork and Collaboration:
Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a collaborative and efficient production environment.
Packaging and Labeling:
Package our products with utmost care to ensure that they arrive to the customer unblemished. Label our products and insert appropriate installation guides when required, so that our brand and quality shine through to the customer.
Continuous Improvement:
Be open to learning new assembly techniques and participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
Proven ability to follow instructions and assembly procedures accurately. Soldering, assembly and testing experience. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Good communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate production concerns. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated punctuality and a strong work ethic. Awareness of the importance of efficient material usage and waste reduction. Ability to maintain a productive work pace throughout the standard work week. Physical dexterity and stamina to perform assembly tasks.
Pay:
