Job Description

division is currently seeking a Fabricator II (3rd Shift). The hourly rate for this position is $20.42 plus 5% shift differential per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.HOURS:

Job Responsibilities:
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment
- Perform job duties in a manner that follows Eaton's Quality standards and systems
- Resistance weld and/or rivet parts according to prescribed methods specifications
- Set up resistance welder to include selecting tips, post, arms, tooling, welder control settings, air pressure, etc.
- Inspect parts and quality of welds using a variety of measuring tools
- Perform rework operations as required
- Interpret orders and drawings to determine procedures and conduct work according to drawing specifications
- Work independently and along side others in the department
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas using Eaton's 5S procedures
- Cross-train in various areas of the department and train new employees in the area
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand throughout working shift and work overtime as needed ##
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution is required
- Must not be on a written or a final written warning
- Employees must complete at least six months in their current role before becoming eligible to apply for another position, including the same role on a different shift.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting
- Experience working with hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, hammers, wrenches, drills)
