Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team, responsible for ensuring the proper operation and upkeep of facilities and equipment. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks across our industrial facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in facilities maintenance and supervisory responsibilities. The Maintenance Worker will play a vital role in maintaining safety, efficiency, and functionality of our operations. Duties Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and building infrastructure Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics and diagnostic tools Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to manage automated equipment Conduct welding and residential painting as needed for repairs or upgrades Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders and maintenance history Supervise junior maintenance staff or contractors during projects Maintain safety standards by inspecting facilities and ensuring compliance with safety protocols Assist in facilities maintenance tasks including HVAC, plumbing, electrical repairs, and general upkeep Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately Provide excellent customer service to internal departments or external clients when required Lead or participate in team projects related to maintenance improvements or facility upgrades Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance and manufacturing environments Proficiency with electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and automation systems Skilled in welding techniques and residential painting projects Ability to interpret technical schematics and manuals accurately Leadership experience supervising maintenance teams or projects Excellent communication skills in English for effective reporting and coordination Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical, mechanical, and facility operations This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your technical expertise will contribute significantly to operational success.
