12 positions - Immediate openings Position Overview Texas Truss and Frame is actively hiring motivated individuals to join our growing team as Truss Assemblers. Due to increased production demand, we are looking for hardworking, self-driven individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, allowing candidates to train, demonstrate their skills, and grow into a long-term role with the company. Key Responsibilities Assemble steel trusses according to technical designs and production specifications Ensure all components are properly constructed and meet quality standards Operate machinery such as roll formers safely and effectively Read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions Inspect materials and components for defects before and during assembly Stack, band, and prepare completed trusses for storage or transport Move materials using forklifts, hand trucks, or other equipment (as needed) Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow daily production orders from the Production Supervisor Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-production setting Required Skills & Qualifications Ability to use basic hand and power tools Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements (imperial system) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently without supervision Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Ability to follow safety rules, procedures, and company policies Comfortable working in indoor/outdoor environments and varying weather conditions Preferred Qualifications Previous truss assembly or construction experience Forklift experience Knowledge of building codes and structural standards Soft Skills & Core Competencies Strong communication and problem-solving skills Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively Self-starter who takes initiative and stays productive Excellent time management and organizational skills Driven to meet and exceed production goals Work Environment This role operates in a busy construction/manufacturing setting with varying noise levels.
