Monday-Saturday Job Summary A staffing company is seeking dependable Automotive Parts Assemblers to support production operations for a General Motors (GM) contractor located in Garland, Texas. Multiple positions are available across first, second, and third shifts. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to transition to permanent employment after approximately 90 days based on successful performance and attendance. 9:45 PM-6:15 AM $15.99/hour Candidates must be available to work Monday through Saturday for their assigned shift. Essential Job Duties Automotive Parts Assemblers will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting automotive production operations. Responsibilities include assembling automotive parts and components, following production instructions and established procedures, meeting daily production expectations, maintaining quality standards, following workplace safety requirements, and working collaboratively with production team members. Additional duties and workstation assignments may vary based on production needs. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to read, write, and understand work-related instructions in English. Candidates will be required to complete an employer-provided assessment related to the reading and written communication requirements of the position. Must be able to lift and/or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds as required by the position. Must have and wear steel-toe shoes while working. Must be able to work in a manufacturing/production environment. Must be available to work the assigned shift Monday through Saturday. Must demonstrate dependable attendance and punctuality. Must be able to follow safety procedures, production instructions, and quality standards. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Temp-to-Hire & Benefits Successful candidates may transition to permanent employment after approximately 90 days, based on performance and attendance.
