ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN 3
Headquarters - Grapevine, TX 76051 Apply Overview Position Type Full Time Apply Description
JOB SUMMARY
Perform complex and advanced assembly of products according to established specifications and instructions for successful daily operations of the business.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Read and analyze production and shipping orders to determine exhibit requirements. Assemble components of exhibit based on design specifications and setup instructions. Evaluate assembled exhibit for damages to structure, surfaces, packaging, graphics, wiring, etc. Suggest improvements or upgrades to structure, surfaces, packaging, graphics, wiring, setup instructions, etc. Successfully lead a team/crew for trade show booth Efficiently communicate with other departments as needed to facilitate timely execution of responsibilities. Will be expected to be able to work unsupervised. Ability to lead a team/crew for trade show booth builds. Perform product previews and training with internal and external clients. Package components to minimize risk of damage during transport. Label components to facilitate ease of assembly according to setup instructions. Record components, graphics, and shipping containers using standardized forms. Learn and utilize proprietary NAV software to perform functions of job. Package and label pallets and containers for storage in warehouse. Maintain all equipment to ensure proper functionality. Complete quality control checks. Maintain clean and safe working environment. Perform accurate inventory procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must have 5-10 years experience as an Install & Dismantle Assembly Technician Must be comfortable working at a minimum height of 10 feet. Understand schematic drawings as applies to exhibit assembly. Basic knowledge and use of hand tools and measurement devices. Must be able to lift 75 pounds. Ability to work accurately and quickly under company deadlines. Cooperative, courteous, flexible and good natured. Conscientious, persistent, resourceful, productive and active. Must have the ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships and deal with employees in an efficient and professional manner. Must have trade show experience. Must have reliable transportation. Must have attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and commitment to meeting and exceeding deadlines and goals. Valid drivers license. Share job details to
