Full Job Description Job Summary:

Assembler 2 ensures that all products meet quality and safety standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The ideal candidate has prior assembly experience, follows standards procedures with minimal supervision, and actively contributes to continuous improvement efforts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

High School Diploma.

Experience:

MRP experience a plus. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.

Skills:

Blueprint reading

• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Tool proficiency
• Skilled with hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and basic machinery. Measurement skills
• Use of calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure precision.

Meet daily production targets. Maintain consistent speed and accuracy. Good time management. Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Personal Attributes:

Notices small defects or inconsistencies. Follows specifications exactly. Maintains accuracy under production pressure.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

Stand for extended periods (often 8-12-hour shifts). Walk between workstations or production areas. Bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed. Lift and carry materials (commonly 25-50 lbs.) Push/pull carts or equipment. Handle small parts with precision. Strong hand-eye coordination. Ability to use hand and power tools repeatedly. Fine motor skills for small or detailed components. Perform repetitive assembly tasks. Maintain consistent pace throughout shift.
