Plastics Assembler Wage:
$16.00- $17.
Shift:
1stHours:
8:00am- 4:00pm We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Plastics Assemblers to join a growing manufacturing team in Houston, TX (77037).
Plastics Assembler Responsibilities:
- Assemble molded plastic components according to established work instructions and quality standards
- Inspect parts and finished assemblies for defects, damage, or inconsistencies
- Trim excess plastic material from molded products using hand tools and designated equipment
- Install hardware, fasteners, and additional components as required
- Verify fit, function, and overall quality of assembled products
- Package finished products for shipment and inventory storage
- Maintain production counts and complete required documentation
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
- Report equipment issues, product defects, or safety concerns to supervisors Requirements for
Plastics Assembler:
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or machine operation experience preferred but not required
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Dependable attendance and reliable work history
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Experience with small-part assembly or precision manufacturing is a plus
- Ability to successfully pass a background check
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 30 pounds
